Surface Rust Or Deep Rust?
A Nordic TSO needed to know the real condition of their steel — but standard inspection imagery could not tell surface rust from deep rust. The two look alike from a distance, yet one is cosmetic and the other is eating into the structure.
With a GSD down to 0,03 cm/px, the difference is simply visible — surface rust and deep rust can be told apart and graded component by component. And because every flight repeats the same viewpoints, each inspection lays directly over the last, so degradation becomes a measurable trend rather than a judgement call.
The Challenge
Visual reports could not separate cosmetic surface rust from structural deep rust — money went to the wrong towers.

Ultra-high-resolution capture at 0,03 cm/px with repeatable viewpoints, graded component by component.

A rust-severity baseline for every tower, and a maintenance plan driven by measured degradation over time.
