Seeing Between The Glass
On glass isolators, the critical corrosion happens where nobody can see it: on the metal caps and pins between the discs. Left unchecked, it eats through the fitting until the string falls from the tower.
No existing equipment could image that gap from the air — so we built the solution ourselves: a high-resolution camera and custom equipment that looks in between the discs of every isolator, capturing the hidden metalwork in sharp detail. A Nordic TSO now knows the true condition of every string in the line.
