Defective Composite Isolators
A Nordic TSO suspected defective composite isolators in their grid, but had no way to find them from the ground — the defects are invisible to the naked eye.
We flew a corona camera sweep across the corridor, flagging isolators with ultraviolet discharge. Each flagged unit then got a close pass with thermal imaging to expose internal degradation, and ultra-high-resolution RGB to document the exact defect. Three sensors, applied in sequence — from suspicion to certainty.

A corona sweep flags discharging units; thermal and high-res RGB confirm and document each defect.
The Result
Defective isolators identified and replaced before failure — with photo documentation for every one.
